Working with a variety of partners — health plans, providers, consumer advocates, state government, technology companies, and thought leaders — she has led community mobilization efforts supporting innovation and spread in the safety-net healthcare system.
At Cloud City, Bei advises on healthcare trends and best practices within the industry, leading content initiatives strategically and editorially. Working with the Design team, she crafts marketing narratives that are both complex and accessible for clients and end users. Bei masters strategic engagement by drawing on patient and provider voices to identify, develop and test innovative and evidence based marketing approaches.
Bei also works as an administrative leader in a world renowned medical center. She counsels clinical and executive leadership on how to compose grievance investigation outcome correspondence in a nuanced and empathetic manner, while simultaneously reducing liability risks for the institution. She has guest lectured at Stanford, UCSF, and Touro Schools of Medicine, facilitating small groups on trauma-informed and inclusive care models.
Bei holds Bachelor of Arts degrees from UC Berkeley in Social Welfare and Gender and Women’s Studies. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree from the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF). While this is far from a comprehensive list of Bei’s interests, currently some of her interests include exploring different creative writing mediums, adult learning and communication theory, and community based mutual aid.
